Brett Wightman - Owner, Agent

Brett has been involved in agriculture his entire life.  Brett grew up on his family farm in Edinburg VA and completed his degree in Agriculture Economics degree at Virginia Tech in 2008.  He began his career in the field of agriculture with Syngenta Crop Protection.  After helping growers and retailers throughout the region troubleshoot crop protection solutions and navigating seed decisions for almost six years, Brett decided to switch gears and begin his crop insurance career.  For the past few years Brett has worked with Wightman Insurance Agency INC under the tutelage of his mother, Libby Rocco, who has been in crop insurance for more than 30 years.  Brett is now the owner of Wightman Crop Insurance.
